The Greater Vancouver Community Advisory Board (CAB) and the Community Entity (CE) Lu’ma Native BCH Housing Society, in partnership with Vancity Community Foundation would like to acknowledge the traditional and ancestral unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, Kwikwetlem, Tsawwassen, Katzie, Kwantlen, Qayqayt, and Semiahmoo Nations. They have been custodians of this land for thousands of years and we would like to pay our respect to the Elders and Knowledge Keepers both past and present.

Reducing Indigenous homelessness in the region is both a priority brought forward by the community as well as the Reaching Home Program. The Greater Vancouver CAB and CE are committed to supporting Indigenous organizations serving Indigenous people and to ensuring that Indigenous individuals have access to culturally appropriate services.
Indigenous-led organizations are invited to apply through the Indigenous stream here [lnhs.ca].Deadline to apply through the Indigenous funding stream is April 12, 2022.
Applications are due Friday April 29 by 5pm.

La réduction de l’itinérance autochtone dans la région est à la fois une priorité mise de l’avant par la collectivité et par le programme Vers un chez-soi. Le CCC du Grand Vancouver et l’EC s’engagent à soutenir les organismes autochtones servant les Autochtones et à s’assurer que les Autochtones ont accès à des services adaptés à leur culture.
Les organismes gérés par des Autochtones sont invités à soumettre une demande par le biais du volet autochtone en cliquant ici [lnhs.ca]. La date limite pour soumettre une demande de financement sous le volet autochtone est le 12 avril 2022.
